We Do Recycle these at Pettisville, clean and without lids
At seven self-serve windows:
- Clear glass (separated, clean, no lids)
- Brown glass (separated, clean, no lids)
- Green glass (separated, clean, no lids)
- Newspaper, phone books and paper bags (not in strings or plastic bags)
- Magazines and shiny material
- Aluminum Cans
- Steel or tin cans, empty and dry aerosol cans and paint cans, small scrap tin
In the outside addition:
- Milk and other clear No. 2 containers (left side, yellow recycling bin)
- Plastics No. 1 top is smaller than the bottom and it is not brown (right side, yellow recycling bin)
- Colored/Solid milk jugs and colored No. 2 plastic if top is smaller than the bottom (right side, yellow recycling bin)
- Ink Cartridges/Cell Phones
- Aluminum Foil
- Corrugated Cardboard – Flattened
Additionally during 2nd Saturday morning recycling and with “extra” drop offs: Bring large bulky items or items that you have a large amount of Bring hard-back or soft-back books, separated (or take right to Wauseon to the recycling center
We Don't Recycle:
- Plastic bags
- Light bulbs
- Scrap steel
- Plastic lids
- Blown glass, vases, mirrors and glass plates and cups
- Brown and solid plastic #1 plastics
- Plastic containers when the mouths are bigger than the base
- Plastic numbered 3 – 7 (all or part)
- Wet newspapers or wet cardboard, painted cardboard
- String
- Foam, Styrofoam, Packing Nuts
- Oil and Antifreeze bottles
- Computer monitors, terminals, etc (take to Wauseon Recycle Center)
