The public is invited to compete- No Entry Fees, but you supply your own pumpkin and materials. All entries become available for the auction. Entries are needed at the school Oct 7, by 4:30 pm. A separate entry is required for each division.

Division 1 – Carving Contest – carve a pumpkin of any size, with or without a kit

Division 2 – Painting Contest - paint a pumpkin of any size, with or without a kit

Division 3 – Creative Fall Display – any entry counts

Division 4 – Carving, Painting or Creative Display for grades 6 and under

Prizes for each division: 1st- $25, 2nd- $15, 3rd- $10

Pumpkin-in-the-Recipe Contest

Division 5 – no entry fee – with a “Judge’s” award and a “Peoples’ Choice” award. Have your baked item at the cafeteria hallway by 4:30 pm. Vote on your favorites with cash. The winning entries in each category will win cash prizes. Leftover items go into the auction or bake sale (Family & Consumer Science students judged separately).

BASKETBALL and DODGEBALL TOURNAMENTS for Pettisville students/friends

Divisions- (basketball divisions split girls & boys, if possible) (dodgeball is coed)

$5/person T-shirts to the winners

5th – 7th graders - 3 on 3 basketball tournament GUARANTEED 2 GAMES

5th – 12th graders – 6 on 6 coed dodgeball tournament – No more than 4 guys/team and teams will be divided by age appropriateness.

Basketball brackets & rules at 5:15 pm. Dodgeball follows basketball. For sign-up sheets contact Mr. Poulson.

Pumpkin Fest 2010 hosted by the Pettisville FFA Alumni & Friends group with the support of the FFA, Ag Department, Art Department and Family and Consumer Science Departments. The primary purpose of the Alumni & Friends group is to support the Agriculture Students of Pettisville School and agriculture education in general.
