2009/2010 Ohio Anemometer Loan Program (ALP)
Tower commissioning for the 2009/2010 Anemometer Loan Program (ALP) sites took place during September 2009. The two sites chosen for the 2009/2010 program include Pettisville Area Schools, and the Ashtabula Port Authority. Pettisville Area Schools hopes to add a wind turbine to their campus that will generate electricity for the school and provide tremendous educational opportunities for their students. The Ashtabula Port Authority site is located at the Ashtabula Waste Water Treatment Plant, which the city hopes to power with a wind turbine in the future.
