On April 12, 2011, eight of Pettisville's new FFA officers attended officer training at Bowling Green High School. The night included officer workshops, the district banquet dinner, and district awards ceremony. The workshops were set up to train new officers and give them an overview of the officer positions. The work shops were run by Ohio State FFA College students and Alumni. District 1 President, Mike Hanneswald, spoke at the banquet, and handed out district awards. Overall Pettisville FFA members enjoyed their evening at Bowling Green High School. On April 15th, 2011 Pettisville FFA members packaged 815 trees for 1st graders around the county. The trees were packed for Arbor Day and Earth Day. The type of tree packed were Norway Spruce and they were provided through the Fulton County Soil and Water Conservation District. Juniors Travis Beck and Zach Pursel handed out the trees to the Pettisville first graders. Other trees were handed out by the SWCD staff. Brooke Betz
